Carry out maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on heavy-duty trucks as well as petrol passenger vehicles
Manage, maintain, and control the onsite workshop to ensure smooth daily operations
Conduct scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and attend to mechanical breakdowns
Travel when required to attend roadside or offsite breakdowns
Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and company procedures
Always uphold honesty and integrity, particularly when handling fuel and workshop resources
Maintain accurate job cards, service reports, and records of work completed
Provide input into improving workshop processes and vehicle uptime
Requirements:
Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Red Seal / Trade Test)
Petrol mechanical experience will be an advantage
Valid Code 14 driver's licence
Proven experience working on both heavy-duty trucks and passenger vehicles
Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage a workshop environment
Willingness to be on standby and travel for breakdown callouts
Strong work ethic and reliability
Excellent references from previous employers (essential)
Motor Industry experience ESSENTIAL!!
