A well established company based in Weltevredenpark requires a public relations manager
DUTIES:
Media and Communication

Build and maintain media relationships across print, broadcast, and digital platforms
Draft and distribute press releases, speeches, and promotional content
Coordinate interviews, press briefings, and public appearances for executive

Monitoring & Reporting

Stakeholder Engagement

Cultivate relationships with influencers, thought leaders, and community partners
Evaluate sponsorships, partnerships, and advertising opportunities
Manage crisis communication and act as spokesperson when needed

Operational Oversight

Lead PR team and delegate tasks effectively
Collaborate with marketing, legal, and executive teams to ensure message consistency
Oversee social media strategy and digital engagement

REQUIREMENTS:

35 years in PR or communications, with 2+ years in property or real estate
Proven success in launching residential developments, managing public perception, and handling media engagement
Experience with community engagement and navigating municipal or zoning concerns

Technical Skills

Proficiency in media monitoring tools, CRM platforms, and digital PR software
Strong command of social media strategy tailored to residential buyers and investors
Ability to craft compelling press releases, investor updates, and community notice
