JOB PURPOSE

The Project Administrator is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and coordination support to ensure the smooth planning, execution, and delivery of projects. This role acts as a central point of contact for project documentation, scheduling, reporting, and communication between stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities

Administrative support
Maintain and update projects records, prepare work orders and status reports, manage data and filing system and compile information to produce progress and performance reports.

Project Scheduling & Coordination
Ensure timely completion of production schedules through effective co-ordination , maintain clear communication between departments, arrange and document meetings, and track deliverables to identify and address potential delays.

Resource and Logistics Management
Co-ordinates scheduling of equipment, materials, and man power, work with procurement for timely supply's, track resource usage for efficiency , and manage logistics for deliverables.

Communication and Liaison
Serve as the central point of contact between internal teams, contractors, and clients, relay project updates and requirements, and follow up on pending tasks and approvals.

Safety and Compliance
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and electrical codes.

Quality Assurance
Ensure work meets project and industry standards, maintain accurate production records and reports, and verify data entries for schedules and supplier records.

Inventory and resource management
Oversee inventory of tools, materials, and equipment, ensure availability for projects, and co-ordinate with procurement to meet quality and delivery standards.

Ad Hoc Responsibilities
Assist in any department as and when required

Qualification
Matric/Grade 12 (Essential)
Degree/Diploma in Project Management, Administration ore related field (preferred)

Related Experience
Relevant work experience minimum 3-5 years of experience as a administrative or projects support role administrator.
Experience in electrical engineering will be advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Hendrina, Mpumalanga 1098: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
