Job Description

Job Summary Key Performance: Development of terms of reference for the professional teams and/or external service providers to ensure effective implementation of the integrated master development plan Provide support for the appointment of the required professional team for the compilation of the integrated master development plan and construction programme, based on the organisational strategy, business plan and budget. Management of all professional teams required for the planning, design and delivery of the integrated master development plan and the required infrastructure in line with the business plan and budget. Identification of project related risks and recommend/define appropriate measures to mitigate risk Continuous monitoring of projects performance Taking ownership of the project communication Assist in the implementation of measures to ensure the projects compliance with the organizations SLAs, Building Regulations and Occupational Health & Safety Legislations and all relevant authorities. Assist in the establishment of effective control and coordination mechanisms for the Project, and take reasonable steps to ensure the integrity of the internal control and management information systems; Assist in ensuring that all operations and activities of the Project are conducted in accordance with the PFMA, relevant regulations Qualifications and Experience: Relevant Bachelors Degree (Quantity Surveying) plus a project management qualification (PMP or SACPCMP) Professional QS 5 years experience in consulting/construction roads / civils / buildings Atleast 2 year EPCM experience Intermediate knowledge of project management Understanding of relevant legislation, policies and procedures Ability to make high-level business presentations and decisions. Actively promotes collaborative work between key stakeholders Good Communication skills: Develops written and verbal communications aimed at various audiences and communicates using language and style to capture the attention of the audience. Technical Expertise: Ability to demonstrate a level of knowledge and proficiency in specific technical/professional area. Project management experience Project supervision experience Financial management principle
