Project Manager (municipal Infrastructure)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end management of municipal infrastructure projects from inception to close-out.
  • Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, municipal requirements, and engineering standards.
  • Liaise with municipalities, consultants, contractors, and community representatives.
  • Manage risks, resolve issues, and implement effective project controls.
  • Monitor progress, prepare reports, and maintain quality and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (BTech or BSc preferred).
  • Professional registration (Pr Eng / Pr Tech Eng) will be an advantage.
  • Minimum 8 years' relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a project management role on municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of water, sanitation, roads, and stormwater systems.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites.
