SUMMARY:
Lead the planning and delivery of enterprise-level data projects within the banking environment
POSITION INFO:
We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Project Manager with a strong background in and financial services. This role is responsible for leading and delivering complex, enterprise-wide data initiatives that align with strategic business objectives. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise-level data projects within the banking environment.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, budgets, resources, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment of activities and timely communication of project progress and changes.
• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to define project objectives and success criteria.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, implementing contingency plans where needed.
• Ensure adherence to project management frameworks, governance standards, and compliance requirements.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across teams.

• Proven experience managing complex enterprise data projects, ideally in the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data architecture, and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., POPIA, BCBS 239, GDPR).
• Solid grasp of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid).
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile PM) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
