Job Description

iOCO is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a Data Catalogue Implementation project for one of our key enterprise clients. This is a critical role in ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery of the projectxe2x80x94driving data governance and enabling better discoverability and use of data assets across the business.
Skills and Experience
What youll do:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for the implementation of an enterprise data cataloguing tool (e.g., Microsoft Purview, Alation, Collibra, etc.)
• Coordinate with stakeholders across business and technical teams to gather requirements and define project scope
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risk logs, and budgets
• Ensure alignment between data governance, architecture, and analytics teams
• Facilitate workshops, demos, and progress meetings with internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor vendor deliverables, ensuring configuration and integration are on track
• Drive user adoption and training efforts post-implementation

Your expertise:

• 5+ years of project management experience, preferably within data, analytics, or governance environments
• Proven experience delivering enterprise data projects (catalogues, governance, metadata tools, etc.)
• Strong understanding of data cataloguing concepts, metadata management, and data lineage
• Familiarity with tools like Microsoft Purview, Alation, Collibra, Informatica Data Catalog, or AWS Glue
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications:

• Relevant Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince2, Agile) is a plus
