Job Description
Established Renewable Energy company seeks a qualified Electrical Project Engineer to ensure projects are completed technically and within a set schedule as well as uphold project standards through compliance regulations and adjusting specifications for elements of the project.
Requirements:
- B.Eng / BSc (Eng) / N Dip in Electrical Engineering
- Pr Eng registration (advantageous)
- Instrumentation & Automation experience (advantageous)
- Min 5 years experience as a Solar Project Engineer
- AutoCAD, MS Office
- Proven experience in design, implementation, and assistance with commissioning
- Valid Driverxe2x80x99s License
- SANS10142-1 Edition 3
- SANS1014-2 (MV)
- NRS097 suite
- IEC 62446
- SSEG standards and requirements
- Good understanding of the legal requirements in the design and operation of the engineering portion of a project
- Efficiency liaise, interact, and build relationships with project stake holders.
- Responsible for all electrical design works (AC & DC)
- Reviewing all broad engineering, maintenance issues sustainability, and commercial viability of future potential projects
- Detailed drawings & designs
- Fault-finding and analytics, with the ability to provide solutions and results
- Technical and commissioning support to site teams
- Ensure overall cost-effectiveness of the project with value engineering.
