Job Description

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor with a strong background in industrial engineering, production planning, and process improvement to join their team in Cape Town, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manufacturing environments, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and compliance with ISO standards.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to meet operational and output targets.
Oversee manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to quality standards.
Manage resource allocation, production schedules, and equipment maintenance.
Supervise, mentor, and support production staff to ensure optimal team performance.
Conduct inspections and testing to identify and address quality issues.
Analyze production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process optimization and problem-solving initiatives.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain production documentation and reports for management review.
Requirements:
Relevant qualification in Industrial or Production Engineering, or similar field.
Proven experience in a manufacturing or production management environment.
Strong knowledge of production planning, process improvement, and quality control systems.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
