Job Summary Job Functions: xe2x80xa2 Plans, supervises and performs all phases of welding, fabrication, and erection of structural steel. xe2x80xa2 Conducts regular inspection and maintenance of equipment and tools. xe2x80xa2 Inspects installations for quality, ensuring codes and procedures are met. xe2x80xa2 Understands and ensures crew members follow and adhere to company, client and OSHA safety rules and regulations. xe2x80xa2 Maintains a proper record of completed tasks and the methods used to achieve goals and objectives. xe2x80xa2 Prepares daily work permits, time tickets, documenting and approving work performed, materials used, costs, etc. xe2x80xa2 Evaluates employees' progress. xe2x80xa2 Trains and mentors new team members xe2x80xa2 Conducts jobs in accordance with relevant codes and site-specific procedures while following applicable safety procedures. Required Minimum Qualifications: xe2x80xa2 Three years' experience in the Steel Fabrication industry, production Processes xe2x80xa2 High School Diploma, or equivalent xe2x80xa2 Must uphold current and valid driver's license and maintain clean driving record. xe2x80xa2 Three years' experience as Pipefitter or Structural Craft Hand in an industrial oil field setting Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required: xe2x80xa2 Must be proficient with hand and power tools as well as heavy equipment. xe2x80xa2 Experience in scheduling crews and managing daily customer deliverables. xe2x80xa2 Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle (within the requirements of our insurance carrier). xe2x80xa2 Demonstrated ability in supervising and leading others. xe2x80xa2 Ability to set and balance priorities to complete projects on time.
