Production Planner Manufacturing
Job Description
A manufacturing Company in the Steel and Engineering industry is seeking a competent production planner to join their team in Krugersdorp.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for creating Job cards, checking re-orders and tracking order progress to ensure smooth running of the planning department.
The successful candidate must be able to fulfill the following duties and responsibilities:
Check stock re-orders daily.
Create job cards for new orders for the departments.
Book finished items to stock every day.
Check all spares for jobs to be released.
Check top 200 items to stock policy.
Do follow ups with the departments on released jobs.
Give weekly feedback to management on order progress.
Education/Professional Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Grade 12 / Matric
Minimum 5 years experience
Must be able to speak English
Computer literate
Extra computer courses / skills
Must have worked in the engineering industry
Must be able to work under pressure
Must be able to work on Navision
Preferred Skills
Must have good communication skills
Must be passionate about their work
Supervisory skills
Good production skills will be an added advantage
Time keeping and disciplined.
