Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Print Production Manager to oversee our plastic division operations. We are into manufacturing of LLDPE stretch films, HDPE blown films and PP bags. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plastic industry production processes This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality control, ensuring that the candidate has complete knowledge of all type of polymers and their uses.

Duties

Oversee the operation of various machines such as Cast stretch film machine, blow extrusion line, PP bags cutting and stitching machine, flexo printer etc. Ensure quality control throughout the production process, from prepress to final output. Train and supervise production staff on best practices in printing techniques and equipment operation. Maintain an organized work environment and ensure compliance with safety regulations, including forklift operation when necessary. Troubleshoot production issues as they arise and implement solutions to improve efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in print production management or a similar role within the manufacturing sector. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality control throughout the production process. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preference will be given to candidates working in Africa area in the line of Plastics.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R1700,00 - R1900,00 per year
