Laingsburg Area Western Cape: Our client is looking for a Production Manager to join the team.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 5-8 years experience in deciduous fruit production
Relevant qualification (diploma / degree in horticulture, soil science, etc.)
Proven experience in people management
Administrative skills with good computer literacy
Extensive knowledge of modern farming practices which should include orchard establishment, pruning, tree manipulation, irrigation etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Take responsibility for all production processes
Handle and utilize the administration related to production to promote efficiency
Manage subordinates optimally
Be willing to apply scientific farming practices
Add value to the growth of the business
