Job Description
Motus Autoworx, a dynamic leader in the vehicle repair industry is looking, is inviting applications from honest, trustworthy, and highly responsible candidates with relevant experience to apply for the position of a Production Manager at our Jet Park branch.
Position Overview
The purpose of the position is to assist the General Manager with operation, administration, compliance and the performance management of administrative support staff.
Specific Role Responsibilities
- Managing of ETA date achievement
- Always maintaining focus on moving vehicles timeously
- Planning of job through the system - updating dates on TMS
- Check accuracy on work carried out as per job card
- Checking of quality in all departments throughout the repair process
- Ensuring cleanliness within the workshop is maintained at all times
- Making sure health and safety requirement are adhered, at all times
- Overseeing the overall production operations
- Establishing which jobs should be outsourced vs internal repairs
- Follow up with outstanding parts
- Follow up with outsourced partners for latest ETA
- Communicate all reworks with Manager
- Follow up with repairs and maintenance.
- Ensuring pressure tests are completed and recorded on TMS
Minimum Experience
- At least 3 years of relevant experience
- Grade 12
- Knowledge of TMS - advantageous
- Familiarity with Autobody repair administrative requirements
- Background in compliance and/or health and safety in an autobody environment - advantageous
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Detail orientated
