Minimum Requirements
Has a relevant
manufacturing/engineering degree(preferred)
, or equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
5 years or more experience
in production management within the furniture industry, or similar environments.
Great understanding of
manufacturing
and
logistics
practices and principles
Commercial acumen
to execute on the daily production plan and order book; ability to problem-solve, plan, build teams, and make sound decisions in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

Duties & Responsibilities
Production Handling:
Lead and optimise daily production activities, ensuring clear communication of production plans, tracking KPIs, managing staffing, solving problems, and upholding safety and housekeeping standards.
Stock Management:
Oversee effective stock planning, movement tracking, and inventory control with minimal variances.
Logistics Management:
Coordinate logistics operations with internal teams and transport partners, monitor delivery performance and transport costs, and align dispatch with production planning.
