Are you a skilled Production Manager with hands-on experience in heavy steel fabrication and workshop operations?
xc3xb0xc2x9fxc2x93xc2x8d Location: Elandsfontein, Gauteng
xc3xb0xc2x9fxc2x93 Start Date: ASAP
xc3xa2xc2x8fxc2xb3 Duration: 3-Month Contract
xc3xb0xc2x9fxc2x92xc2xb0 Salary: Market-related, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead production activities in a heavy fabrication workshop
- Oversee planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Mentor and guide production teams and foremen
- Enforce safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
- Apply lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
- Red Seal Boilermaker/Welder or BEng/BTech in Production/Engineering
- Proven experience in heavy engineering production environments
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with fabrication codes and lean principles
