Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned and energetic production manager to run our plant in cape town
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- National diploma in production or Operations management
- Must be competent in Microsoft packages
- Ten to Fifteen (15) years' experience in production management
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience in a managerial or supervisory role
- Sound understanding of lean manufacturing
- Experience in Syspro would be an added advantage
- Experience as a 16.2 legal appointee an added advantage
MINIMUM SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Impeccable work ethic
- Strong technical , problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Inherent willingness to lead the production team for continuous success
- Strong understanding of maintenance planning
- Sound understanding of Health and Safety rules and standards
- Sound understanding of the South Africa labour framework
DUTIES
1. Plan , Organise and deliver production Output
2. Ensure that production quality targets are met
3. Introduce innovative ways of improving production efficiencies
4. Staff and Union Realtionship Management
5. Collate Production Reports, analyse and provide recommadation using the data.
6. Ensure a safe working environment and enforce safety procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: R70000,00 - R90000,00 per month
Work Location: In person
