Job Description

We are looking for a driven and experienced Production Manager to lead our fertilizer manufacturing operations. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production across multiple sites. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in production management, preferably in fertilizer or chemical manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, planning, and analytical skills.
• Proven experience in contractor and multi-site management.
• Solid understanding of procurement, stock control, and compliance frameworks

Duties
Production & Planning

• Lead production planning and raw material forecasting.
• Monitor usage variance and ensure consistent product quality.
• Drive continuous improvement in production efficiency and output.

Procurement & Maintenance

• Manage procurement of packaging materials and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure cost-effective sourcing and equipment reliability.

Contractor & Site Management

• Oversee contractor performance and compliance.
• Supervise smaller satellite sites to ensure alignment with central operations.

Stock & Expense Management

• Maintain optimal stock levels of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
• Manage operational expenses and contribute to cost control initiatives.

People Leadership

• Lead and develop production teams, fostering a culture of accountability and growth.
• Ensure effective workforce planning, training, and performance management.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure full compliance with safety, legal, and environmental regulations.
• Promote a zero-harm culture and uphold all company safety standards.
