, where you'll play a key role in managing the Log Yard, Wetmill, Greenchain, and Sticker Plant--ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality timber production every single day.

Duties & Responsibilities

What You'll Do

Supervise Wetmill division effectively to ensure optimum volume recovery with maximum uptime and throughput. Determine the source of any defects, investigates and resolves defects. Monitor production to ensure daily targets are met. Informs Production Manager of additional stock required for monthly plan and follows up Monitor stock in Log Yard to prevent over or under supply of specific sizes. Provide updates on production progress to Supervisors. Conduct performance reviews with subordinates as per company schedule. Ensures that equipment meets the required Safety Standards. Maintain good housekeeping standards and adheres to Safety Rules and Regulations according to OHS Act.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12 or Equivalent. ND/BTech Wood Technology. Computer literacy will be an advantage. 7 Years Sawmill production experience, 4-years Wet side operation. Knowledge in Wetmill and Sawmill Processes. Excellent communication skills Wet mill, Green Chain and Auto Stacker processes. Knowledge of safe working practises. Tolerance to work in heat, dust, and noisy conditions. Ability to work overtime and have physical strength.
