Feltex is seeking a skilled

Production Administrator

to capture production data (including production and transfers), investigate negative stock, enter customer orders, process requisitions (administration, production, maintenance, and credit notes), and manage the vendor application process. The successful incumbent will be responsible for ensuring accurate data management and smooth administrative operations supporting production activities.



This role plays a key part in supporting

operational excellence

by maintaining up-to-date production records, resolving stock discrepancies, coordinating order processing, and facilitating procurement requisitions. The Production Administrator will also collaborate with various departments, foster a culture of accuracy and accountability, and ensure all administrative processes align with organisational objectives and compliance requirements.

Minimum Requirements



Grade 12 Minimum 2 years' working experience in a Automotive manufactoring environment Certificate/ National Diploma in Administration or a similar qualification

Duties & Responsibilities



Customer Relations:




Interact with internal customers External Customers

Supplier Relations:




Interact with internal/ external suppliers

Planning:




Capture previous day's production output onto the MRP system. Invoicing and receipting. Ensure all production is captured. Enter and/or cancel orders on system. Maintain production records. Assist with data capturing on stock take days once a month. Report discrepancies to managers/supervisors. Capture credit notes and generate as required. Liaise with new suppliers and follow procedures to get vendor on the system. Attend meetings when required. Stock control of production and delivery notebooks. Requisitioner for all orders for both Non-woven and Technical Felts. Create work orders. Receive invoices on ERPLX. Create credit and debit notes. Ensure sufficient stock of stationery. To adhere to all quality work instructions and procedures. Filing of all production documents. Generate orders for the engineering department on the system. Verify/summarise weekly report of central stores maintenance daily orders placed. Assist planner with capturing orders. Weekly stock count collation and reporting. Investigate and rectify negative stocks.
