We are looking for an organised, confident, and proactive Logistics Administrator to support our transport operations. The ideal candidate has experience in a logistics/transport environment, including exposure to DC processes and understanding of diesel/paraffin usage, as part of their background.
Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Administration & Coordination
Daily scheduling and coordination of
8T trucks, reefers, and milk tankers
Dispatch and route planning to ensure efficient delivery and collection schedules
Tracking vehicle movements and ensuring real-time communication with drivers
Maintaining trip sheets, PODs, delivery notes, and route logs
Coordinating breakdown support, tyre changes, and workshop bookings
Fuel, Diesel & Paraffin Control
Monitor, capture, and reconcile
diesel and paraffin consumption
across the fleet
Verify fuel slips, ensure correct allocations, and investigate discrepancies
Monitor reefer fuel levels and temperature requirements
Compile weekly and monthly fuel usage reports for management
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all vehicles have valid licenses, COFs, and relevant dairy transport compliance documents
Maintain calibration certificates for milk tankers and ensure they are kept up to standard
Oversee driver files, PDP tracking, and training/medical expiry dates
Ensure adherence to cold-chain and food-safety logistics standards
Load & Dispatch Support
Work with production, milk intake, and distribution teams to coordinate loading times
Verify weights, volumes, temperatures, and sealing of reefers and tankers
Prepare load plans and ensure correct documentation accompanies all loads
Support stock movement documentation between DC and customers/depots
General Logistics Administration
Capture daily logistics data and maintain accurate records
Prepare operational reports (fleet utilisation, downtime, fuel trends, dispatch accuracy, etc.)
Support month-end reconciliations and KPI reporting
Assist the logistics manager with any ad-hoc tasks, audits, or investigations
What You Bring:
Experience in logistics or transport admin, ideally within a
dairy or perishable goods environment
Knowledge of
DC processes
, cold-chain, and fleet operations
Strong administrative and numerical ability
Confidence working with drivers, suppliers, and internal departments
A proactive attitude with the ability to handle pressure and tight timelines

Pay: R13000,00 - R13500,00 per month
