We are looking for a solution-oriented individual with expertise in fresh food, product development, and supplier management.

Key Competencies:
Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Consumer Science, BCom, and/or a culinary qualification (mandatory).
5-8 years of experience in food product development or related fields.
Strong culinary skills, food preparation experience, and knowledge of food sourcing, preparation, and handling.
Team player with exceptional leadership qualities.
Understanding of retail, food, and lifestyle trends, market segmentation, and food safety requirements.
Proven commercial aptitude and ability to analyse financial indicators.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Fluent in Afrikaans and English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Analyse lifestyle, industry, retail, and food trends to establish product plans and category strategies.
Understand customer needs, product inspiration, and satisfaction.
Manage the product development process to align with the companyxe2x80x99s brand values.
Develop strong supplier relationships and collaborate on mutually beneficial strategies.
Drive product upgrades, quality standards, and customer satisfaction through innovation and effective branding.
Initiate and manage packaging development processes with customer-facing messages and effective brand identity.
Interpret customer research and focus group outcomes to enhance product offerings.

Salary on offer between R40,000 - R50,000 monthly based on experience and requirements.
