A well-established and leading manufacturing group is seeking a Product Category Manager with a strong technical mindset and a passion for translating complex product concepts into clear, practical value for others.



The ideal candidate is not driven solely by sales figures but by the satisfaction of seeing a product category well-managed, purposeful and fully integrated into functional, real-world applications.



With prior experience as a Product Manager or Product Category Manager, this individual combines solid marketing insight with technical understanding and has the maturity, communication skills and professional presence.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Matric (Grade 12) essential. A relevant degree or diploma (preferably in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field) will be advantageous. Proven experience in a Product Manager or Product Category Manager role within a technical or manufacturing environment. Technically minded, with the ability to understand and communicate complex product concepts clearly. Strong marketing insight and understanding of product positioning within functional applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -- able to engage confidently across teams and with clients. Exceptional attention to detail and a structured, results-oriented work approach. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Must have a valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle. * Mature and professional demeanour -- ideally 30 years of age or older.
