My client is a financial institution that operates in the southern region of Africa. Founded 4 decades ago, the main focus of the company is to provide financial and advisory services for infrastructure projects.
The successful incumbent will report to the Head of Procurement and will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential suppliers or vendors for the goods and services needed. This involves negotiating terms, pricing, and contracts, and maintaining relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery. Analyzing procurement costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or regulatory compliance. Working closely with internal stakeholders such as finance, legal, and operations teams to understand their procurement needs and align procurement strategies accordingly.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- BCom
- 4 years Procurement experience
