Job & Company Description:
My client is a national insurer with a specialized focus on delivering workers' compensation insurance to both employers and employees operating in the mining and affiliated sectors.
The successful incumbent will report to the Procurement Manager and will be responsible for identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, including vendors of software, and other resources needed by the insurance company. Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives. Negotiating favorable terms and conditions with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, quality, delivery schedules, and service levels is a critical aspect of their role. Managing supplier contracts, including renewals, amendments, and ensuring that both parties fulfill their obligations.
