Procurement & Planning Manager
Job Description
Calling all Procurement & Planning Managers! Join a manufacturing team in the chemical industry in the Western Cape!
Manage sourcing by overseeing buyers and optimising inventory. Oversee planning to maintain optimal stock levels. Handle all import and customs compliance. Lead projects to enhance efficiency, manage detailed reporting, and drive cross-functional initiatives. Ensure financial targets are met, authorize expenses, and uphold best practices. Maintain ISO standards and manage audits effectively. Supervise and develop the team, conduct performance reviews, and foster skill development.
Job Requirements:
xc2xb7 Matric with maths and accountancy as subjects
xc2xb7 Degree in Procurement, Finance or Supply Chain
xc2xb7 10 years of experience in Procurement and Planning of which at least 5 + years in a chemical manufacturing environment essential
xc2xb7 8+ years at management level
xc2xb7 Strong personality with ability to lead a team
