Job Description
A well-known FMCG manufacturing company based in Cape Town, is looking to appoint a Procurement Manager.
Responsibilities:
- To manage the companyxe2x80x99s supply of products and services
- Inventory Planning
- To build relationships with suppliers
- National Senior Certificate
- Qualification in supply chain/procurement
- Minimum of 2-3 yearxe2x80x99s FMCG environment experience in a similar position
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar position
- Understanding of import and export requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of the FMCG environment.
- Must be computer literate in MS Office; Excel, Word, and Outlook (Pastel/Syspro will be advantageous/Pivot tables and V-Look Ups)
- Own car and driverxe2x80x99s license
- Raw food material buying experience.
- Buying experience packaging material advantageous
- International sourcing experience food ingredients advantageous
- Understanding import/export regulations (lead times for raw material etc)
