The role includes strategic supplier negotiations for cost-effective stock and reduced expenses. Responsibilities involve sub-category procurement strategies, supplier planning, and risk mitigation. Input into supply chain strategies, managing suppliers, and enhancing team capabilities are vital. Ensuring effective procurement plans, team prioritization, and KPI tracking are key. Fostering a high-performing team, supporting category management, and planning career growth are priorities.
The incumbent will be reporting into the Finance Director.
Job experience and Skills Required:
- A bachelors degree in supply chain, procurement Management and/or Engineering required.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in Supply Chain, including 3 years in a management role overseeing a team..
- understanding of crop protection, plant nutrition, and packaging would be beneficial.
