In our world, the Maintenance Planning Supervisor is known as the Process Lead Supervisor. The Process Support Supervisor will oversee managing, leading, and organising all maintenance activities that fulfils factory operational efficiency

Your 'day to day'

Team Management

  • Manage, staff, and develop a motivated and skilled team to ensure performance levels and professional development, and achievement of objectives.
  • Support OPEN+ program deployment with Leadership and Lean Thinking.
  • Support the management in the preparation approval of department and budget based on brand portfolio, volume forecast, and manufacturing center objectives to ensure optimal allocation of resources, adequate funding, and compliance with financial practices.
Maintenance Planning/Management
  • Maintain all equipment/system maintenance activities in accordance with established plans and asset strategy.
  • Assure that the maintenance team is assisting production operators and technicians in the transfer of technical knowledge to facilitate the implementation of an autonomous maintenance strategy.
Record Keeping & Reporting
  • Ensure that necessary transactional and performance data is properly recorded in all relevant systems and databases under their responsibility so that the data is available and can be used as a source for business process performance measurement and further analysis to ensure the identification of corrective actions and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure that appropriate production data collection and reporting systems are developed, implemented, and maintained within their area of accountability and that all changes are properly archived.
  • Make sure that appropriate asset data is implemented and maintained properly within the relevant systems, allowing for proper maintenance scheduling, cost tracking, and asset review.
Budget Management
  • In collaboration with the Department Manager, ensure that budgets and annual operating plans for appropriate assets and systems are developed based on regional and local asset, maintenance, and process control strategy and targets and that these plans are accurately and timely implemented. Monitor and control the costs of maintaining appropriate assets and associated spare parts.
  • Ensure that the consumption of spare parts, costs, and overhead costs is analysed and monitored to stay within budget and minimise losses
Spare Parts Management
  • Ensure that local spare part usage and risk profiles are regularly analysed, reviewed, and provided to Supply Chain to initiate improvements with the goal of optimising spare part usage costs as well as asset reliability and availability.
Health, Safety, and Environment
  • Promote and ensure all PMI Quality, environment, health, and safety rules. Report all situations that are necessary to minimize or eliminate risks to personnel, company assets, and societal impacts while remaining in compliance with or ahead of any applicable legal requirements and company standards.
Vendor Management
  • Ensure that contracted maintenance services are scheduled, ordered, and driven according to plan and budget, including regular supplier SLA evaluations.
Who we are looking for
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electronics Engineering
  • A postgraduate qualification would be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in Maintenance Planning, or/and scheduling experience within a production environment is required
  • Proven track record in team management
  • Solid experience in critical metric tracking and monitoring as well as SPC / Process improvement
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
