Join Lactalis SA at our Ladismith Plant as Process System Supervisor, with the main responsibility to monitor the evaporation process, supervise the separation process and tecnal screens. Required Skills

• Grade 12 or equivalent

• NQF2 Dairy qualification

• Enrolment in companyxe2x80x99s NQF Dairy Manufacturing courses

• At least 2 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a diary environment with sound knowledge of evaporators will be advantageous

• Willing to learn and act as a Production Artisan

• Computer literate, excellent communication and leadership skills

• HACCO and ISO exposure xe2x80xa2 Accuracy and punctuality

• Ability to work and make decision under pressure

• Willing to work shifts, overtime, long hours, weekends and public holidays

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist Production Artisan with test on powders, such as pH, sediment and moisture.

• Responsible for whey evaporation with extreme accuracy.

• Weekly in section on evaporators.

• Support Process System Operators in resolving problem on separators

• Work closely with maintenance department and report defects via job cards.

• Take action when deviation from standards occurs.

• Record all temperatures, product flows and pressures thereby ensuring no deviations.

• Ensure standardized concentrated products are well cooled to specifications.

• Cleaning and hygiene of workplace.

• Analyse all daily production results to identify problem areas.

• Ensure minimum waste in department

• Maintain communication structures and SGA. Motivate subordinates.
