To focus on experiences building brand awareness, educating, and driving the trial at the JC Le Roux tasting room to reach growth targets and exceed the overall customer experience. To always exceed guest experiences through service excellence and maintaining world class hospitality standards.Key Responsibilities:xc2xb7 Active involvement in management of all aspects of the J.C. Le Roux Tasting Room guest experience and service excellence.xc2xb7 Conduct tastings, tours, and presentations on Sparkling Wine Tastings.xc2xb7 Active involvement in the promotion and sales of destination offerings, experiences, and products.xc2xb7 Assist the Operations Manager in the implementation of functions and events.xc2xb7 Collaborate with Brand Marketing to assist in the creation of a consolidated 12 to 18-month Brand Home business plan.xc2xb7 Implement the Integrated Brand home consumer engagement plan and activation strategies to achieve consumer engagement and to create memorable experiences.xc2xb7 Support management through active involvement in the development of new revenue streams to optimize profit.xc2xb7 Assist to reach awareness, sales, and visitor scores.xc2xb7 Drive database and wine club sign-ups.xc2xb7 Assist with the management of brand home ongoing and annual maintenance and gardens - ensure the exterior and interior is set up correctly and maintained to enhance guest experience.xc2xb7 Assist with Brand Home external and internal health & safety audit compliance.xc2xb7 Assist to initiate, motivate, and manage brand home interior and exterior upgrades.xc2xb7 Assist the Operations Manager and Destination Manager in the implementation of quality systems procedures.xc2xb7 Drive efficiencies and maintain operational excellence.xc2xb7 Ensure effective stock and cash handling and minimizing losses.xc2xb7 Involved in daily banking and cash floats.xc2xb7 Responsible for general administration, procurement, and assist with budgeting.xc2xb7 Assist with the management of the brand home stock of products, souvenirs and all items needed to offer all the brand home activities.xc2xb7 Responsible for the training of the temporary staff.xc2xb7 Assist to ensure effective brand home staff communication and positive motivation levels.xc2xb7 Manage the Shopify and Online Sales account.xc2xb7 Manage the Orders @ email account.xc2xb7 Conducting all stock takes timeously.xc2xb7 Management the office rosters as per the business needs.xc2xb7 Responsible for all IT related duties.Education & Experience:xc2xb7 A relevant and recognized hospitality qualification in hospitality, tourism, or event coordinationxc2xb7 CWA (Cape Wine Academy) Certificate will be advantageous.xc2xb7 Experience in the wine industry will be an advantage.xc2xb7 Understanding of, and experience in the hospitality and events industry, preferably in a premium wine environment.xc2xb7 Proven sales experience will be an advantage.xc2xb7 Ability to work independently and cope under pressure.xc2xb7 Proven administrative experience including strong literacy and numeric ability.xc2xb7 Strong organizational skills. Experience managing multiple priorities and changing environment.xc2xb7 Proven track record of delivering results against defined targets.xc2xb7 Exceptional customer service and sales aptitude.xc2xb7 Ability to work independently and creatively, pre-empting, and problem-solving issues as needed.xc2xb7 Possess excellent communication skills, friendly, approachable, and professional when dealing with visitors and staff in person, over the phone, or in writing.xc2xb7 Willing to work on weekends or public holidays and overtime when required.The Company's approved Employment Equity Plan and Targets will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
