Underberg Stores - comprising Underberg SuperSpar, Tops! at Spar, Build It Underberg, Build It Bulwer, Independent Liquors Underberg, Independent Liquors Bulwer, and Sani Pharmacy - is seeking a dynamic, creative and lively PR & Marketing Manager to lead our group ' s marketing and public relations activities. Key Responsibilities: Brand, Campaign & Display Management Develop, plan, and execute marketing campaigns and displays across all stores. Manage brand identity, tone, and presence for each business while ensuring group-wide cohesion. Create and implement seasonal, cultural, and community-focused campaigns and displays (e.g., Heritage Day, Women ' s Day, local sports and music events). Content Creation & Digital Marketing Manage all social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), including strategy, posting, growth, and engagement. Design content (graphics, videos, displays, newsletters) aligned with store promotions and events. Events & Community Engagement Plan and coordinate in-store activations, product launches, giveaways, and local sponsorships. Build and maintain strong community relationships through meaningful initiatives and charity drives. Plan and co-ordinate events and community outreach programmes. Internal & External Communications Draft public communication releases, internal communication, and stakeholder updates. Promote staff achievements, store milestones, and community stories. Provide marketing support to store managers across all businesses. Visual Merchandising & Displays Conceptualize and set up creative in-store displays and seasonal decor. Work closely with department managers to ensure promotional displays are impactful and on-brand. Administration Manage the marketing budget allocated, ensuring cost-effective campaign execution. Provide regular updates to directors and management. Skills & Attributes: Strong design, copywriting, and creative communication skills. Proficiency in Canva and other digital content/design platforms. Proficiency in video editing Excellent project management and organizational ability. Ability to balance multiple store identities at once Strong interpersonal skills to work with staff and community stakeholders. A flair for innovation, humour, and storytelling to connect with customers.
