Poultry Farm Supervisor
Job Description
We are looking for a young supervisor / manager with poultry experience to complement our growing team. The ideal candidate should have self-initiative, problem solving skills, attention to detail and strong staff management skills. Hands on responsibility in the daily supervision of the layer farm operations. Involved in a variety of roles including staff and flock management focusing on benchmark performance indicators, keeping a high standard in bird welfare and shed management systems, stock control and reporting, farm and equipment maintenance, egg pack station supervision and strict biosecurity processes.
The ideal candidate should preferably have experience in poultry, layers with a formal certificate or qualification in farming / agriculture. Experience working in large farming operations, with clearly defined procedures, and results driven performance through a disciplined and productive workforce are key.
Package is market related and subject to experience and the value you can demonstrably bring to our management team.
