Job Description


Summary The incumbent will be responsible for general administrative duties in line with the job description and ensure revenue targets are met by means of filling vacancies. 1. Operational requirements MARKETING & TENANT APPLICATION ADMINISTRATION

  • Achieve successful marketing of vacant units through online media as mandated and in line with budget spend.
  • Implementation of monthly marketing through budget preparation in line with monthly spend.
  • Meet with prospective tenants through appointment.
  • Gather supporting documentation from prospective tenants & ensure the correct vetting process is followed.
LEASE ADMINISTRATION AND INVOICING-
  • Ensure the correct preparation of lease agreement documents following deposit payments received.
  • Ensure the correct measures are followed prior to the tenant taking occupation.
  • Complete the loading of tenant account on WCU, ensure correct billing & create lease agreement pack hard copy file.
  • Ensure credit control / PO receive debit order forms.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
  • Ensure all tenant enquiries are attended to adequately & timeously.
  • Enforce compliance with house rules & attend monthly house visits in line with units under management.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction to achieve extended lease agreements & to ensure notices are kept to a minimum.
Additional Administrative Duties
  • Assisting Portfolio Officer with administrative duties in order to effectively manage the portfolio.
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
  • Manage CSI activities in line with OHHAs mainstreaming plan
  • Attract new and engage with current volunteers involved in the CSI programmes
  • Attend meetings and events to assist with the guiding of current and new CSI programmes
  • Relate & promote a customer friendly environment in all developments
Responsibilities are not limited to only the functions described above and may change or increase as the operational needs of the company change. Amended job functions will be discussed and agreed with the employee upfront. Minimum qualifying requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • 2-3 years administrative and customer service experience
  • Experience in property management advantageous
  • Own Vehicle advantageous
  • The candidate should be available to start immediately
