Job Description
A great mining company in Rustenburg, North West is seeking the expertise of a Plant Manager to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Effective operation of the plant as an effective business unit to an agreed business plan and process parameters.
- Develop a 2-5 years resource and mining strategy and coordinate ore and services to the plant.
- Responsible for compilation and control of production, quality and cost budgets.
- Creating a high-performing team and a conducive employee relations climate - people management (HR and IR) in a unionized environment.
- Ensures adherence to legislative requirements and the companys Health and Safety Standards.
- Financial Management (operational and capital cost budgets)
- Responsible for research and development.
- Maintain a good relationship with the clients at host-mine and liaise on all relevant plant issues.
- Grade 12
- Degree in Chemical or Metallurgy Engineering
- Postgraduate qualification would be advantageous.
- 10 - 12 years experience in plant mining environment
- 5 years in supervisory / management position
