Job Description
A great mining company in Rustenburg, North West is seeking the expertise of a Plant Manager (3.1a) to join their team of professionals.
Responsibilities
- Effective operation of the plant as an effective business unit to an agreed business plan and process parameters
- Develop a 2-5 years resource and mining strategy and coordinate ore and services to the plant
- Responsible for compilation and control of production, quality and cost budgets
- Creating a high-performing team and a conducive employee relations climate - people management (HR and IR) in a unionized environment
- Ensures adherence to legislative requirements and the companyxe2x80x99s Health and Safety Standards
- Financial Management (operational and capital cost budgets)
- Responsible for research and development
- Maintain a good relationship with the clients at host-mine and liaise on all relevant plant issues
- Grade 12
- Degree in Metallurgical / Chemical / Extraction Metallurgy
- Postgraduate Qualification (Advantageous)
- 10 - 12 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in a plant mining environment
- Minimum 5 years at manager level
- Salary: R1.6M/yr - R1.8M/yr, negotiable
