Optipower, a division of Murray and Roberts Power, Industrial & Water is looking for a Plant and Equipment Rental Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for monthly costing of the plant & equipment tools utilisation and consumer inventory at all Projects.

• Record monthly utilisation charges for plant, equipment, tools and consumer inventory.
• Analysing and publishing vehicle and fuel usage cost reports for finance and project management

• Deliver HSE performance in line with Murray & Roberts group targets

Key Responsibilities :

• Ensure Projects are compiling and submitting weekly Plant reports indicating plant utilisation
• Capture monthly rental utilisation charges for Plant, equipment and tools
• Verify correctness of Plant Reports with Site Transfers and asset registers
• Analysing and specifying rental charges for current and newly procured plant, equipment and tools
• Record and submit monthly Project consumer inventory withdrawal costing reports to finance and project management
• Ensure all new assets and tools procured are allocated asset numbers and recorder on asset systems
• Analyse and review assets to determine utilisation, financial return, and overall performance
• Ensure projects record and submit site fuel utilisation reports, and perform audit verifications
• Record and publishing vehicle and fuel usage cost reports for finance and project management

Attributes:

• Capacity to work independently
• Ability to be output / results driven whist building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and ERP systems (JDE)
• Professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient people skills.
• Ability to comply with company policies and procedures
• Detailed oriented and be good at problem-solving as well as possess outstanding interpersonal skills.
• They should have exceptional analytical abilities and organizational skills.

Minimum requirements

Experience:

• 5 years of work experience in a logistics or similar role, along with experience working in the equipment rental industry
• Experience with forecasting
• Ability to prioritise and delegate where necessary

Qualification:

• Supply chain qualification or experience
• Degree in logistics or accounting ( Advantageous)
