Planning Logistics Specialist
Job Description
Logistics Specialist required in Woodmead which will be responsible to plan, route and schedule loads according to the plan by the National Logistics Manager. You will also be required to plan the movement of stock between the point of origin to the point of destination, to meet the requirements of customers, depots, and company, while optimizing resources within a structured planning framework in the primary distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Strategy
Execute shipment planning and trip scheduling
Review load plan execution
Duty Payments
Manage third party primary distribution service providers
Cross Functional Team Management and Communication
Skill Requirements
Forecasting
Import / Export Procedure
Warehouse and Distribution planning
Warehouse Distribution and Transportation Management
Company & Product Knowledge
Operational Policy & Procedures
Experience and Educational Requirements:
Relevant Supply Chain Diploma / Degree
1-3 years relevant experience
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables and V Lookup)
Experience in ERP Software (JDE)
Valid Driverxe2x80x99s License
