Job Description
Key Outputs
Planning, Scheduling, and monitoring job progress and work in progress (WIP) by using an appropriate planning system Planning cost elements on service jobs (Labour, Parts and Bought outs) Achievement of maximum productivity and profitability Apply warranty policies and procedures, including service warranty Issuing or job instructions to and dispatching of artisans (briefing) Initiation and control of Bought Out requests
Follow up on parts, quotes and service reports Assist with achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) Assist with effective control of cost centre expenses and Work-in-Progress Apply Warranty policies and procedures, including Warranty decisions and Service Warranty investigations. Resolve internal and external customer queries
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
Trade certificate (Diesel or Heavy Earthmoving Mechanic) advantageous Minimum 3 years relevant experience. Computer Literacy (MS Office, SIS, STW / ET, CAT inspect. myCat.com) SAP knowledge advantageous Good communication skills and customer relations, Must be a Team player and be willing to work overtime Problem Solving Skills and Technical Competence, Rule orientation and Mechanical Reasoning Verbal and written communication skills
