The Pizza Demi CDP will work closely with the Head Chef to craft high-quality pizzas using premium ingredients, traditional techniques, and contemporary culinary trends. This role requires precision, creativity, and a passion for authentic, elevated pizza craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, cook, and present artisanal pizzas to 5-star standards of taste, texture, and presentation
Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and refine pizza recipes
Maintain stock levels, monitor ingredient quality, and minimise waste
Uphold strict hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness standards
Ensure efficient kitchen operations during high-volume service periods
Assist with workflow, prep lists, and operational support
Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-focused kitchen culture
Culinary Certificate or Diploma
2-3 years' experience as a Demi Chef de Partie, preferably with dedicated pizza-making experience
Strong understanding of dough work, oven management, temperature control, and artisanal techniques
Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while remaining calm and focused
Knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and food safety standards
Creative, passionate, and willing to innovate while honouring authentic methods
Strong teamwork, communication, and mentoring ability
High levels of honesty, accountability, punctuality, and discipline
