Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join the culinary team of a luxury restaurant in the heart of Stellenbosch. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented chef to thrive in a high-end, fast-paced kitchen environment, delivering exceptional dishes that delight guests. ? Key Responsibilities: * Prepare and present high-quality dishes within your designated section * Ensure all food preparation meets restaurant standards and presentation expectations * Assist with the smooth running of the kitchen during service * Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations at all times * Monitor stock levels and communicate shortages to senior chefs * Assist in the training and supervision of junior kitchen staff * Follow all health, hygiene and safety procedures diligently * Contribute to menu development and suggest improvements where appropriate ??? Key Requirements: * Formal culinary training or relevant professional qualification * 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within fine dining or a high-end kitchen * Strong understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen operations * Ability to work under pressure while maintaining consistency and attention to detail * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Passionate about food, ingredients and seasonal produce * Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays ?
