Job Description
A position is available for a piggery manager. The candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the piggery and its related business.
Responsibilities
- The management of herd health, management from farrow to finish, management of the AI process, ordering of feed, medicine and other consumables.
- Maintenance and housekeeping of the facilities.
- Ensuring that production targets are met.
- Good communication, planning and administrative skills are required.
- NSC certificate.
- 5 years or more experience in a similar role.
- Piggery management course completion.
- The ability to communicate in isiZulu or siSwati will be an added advantage.
