Job Summary Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily care and feeding of pigs across all age groups
  • Support breeding, farrowing, and weaning operations
  • Monitor animal health and assist with disease prevention and treatment
  • Complete tasks related to pen cleaning, bedding, and pig movement
  • Learn to manage feed inventories and operate feeding systems
  • Adhere to biosecurity, ethical, and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in daily record-keeping and production monitoring
  • Work collaboratively with farm staff and contribute to a safe, positive team environment
What We're Looking For:
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Diploma in Agriculture (or equivalent)
  • Keen interest in animal science and pig production
  • Good physical condition and ability to complete manual tasks
  • Reliable, enthusiastic, and willing to learn
  • High attention to hygiene, detail, and animal welfare
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
  • Driver's license preferred but not mandatory
  • Available to work January 2026 to January 2027
