Job Description
Job Summary Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily milking and parlour hygiene
- Learn to identify milk quality issues and conduct equipment checks
- Support pasture and infrastructure maintenance
- Participate in calf feeding, health monitoring, and pen cleaning
- Assist with breeding cycles and dry cow care
- Follow all safety, compliance, and ethical farming guidelines
- Maintain accurate data records and contribute positively to the team environment
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Diploma in Agriculture (or equivalent)
- Driver's license preferred but not essential
- Strong willingness to learn and work hard
- Positive attitude, reliability, and good teamwork skills
- Passion for dairy farming and ethical agricultural practices
- Ability to perform manual tasks with grit and resilience
- Available to work January 2026 to January 2027
- Gain practical experience across all farming areas
- Develop critical skills for a future career in dairy farming
- Learn from experienced managers and industry professionals
- Work in a safety-focused, respectful, and ethical farming environment
