An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Physical Sciences Teacher to join our team, teaching in both the Senior and FET Phases. While experience is beneficial, it is not essential - recent graduates and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Education (B.Ed) OR relevant Bachelor's Degree with PGCE, specialising in Physical Sciences SACE registration (applicants must include a certified copy of their SACE registration) Fully computer literate

Preferred Attributes:

It would be advantageous if candidates have:

Ability to teach Mathematics as an additional subject (optional but beneficial) The ability and willingness to add value to the extra-curricular aspects of the College (sport, cultural activities, clubs, etc.) Strong classroom management and organisational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Enthusiasm, adaptability and a growth mindset

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and deliver engaging, CAPS-aligned lessons in Physical Sciences for Grades 10-12 Maintain a supportive, inclusive and disciplined classroom environment Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development initiatives Complete administrative tasks such as assessments, marking, reports, and learner progress tracking Contribute actively to the College's extra-curricular programme
