This leading English-medium South African public boys school has a vacancy for a fulltime,

SENIOR MATHEMATICS AND

PHYSICAL SCIENCES teacher.

This is a SGB position with effect from 1 January 2026.

Minimum Requirements

Appropriate teaching qualifications with specialization in Physical Sciences and/or Mathematics is essential. Candidates must have a suitable degree and a PGCE Thorough knowledge of CAPS and related curricula. A minimum of

five years teaching

experience Experience in teaching Grade 12 Mathematics. Experience in teaching Grade 12 Physical Sciences will be considered an advantage.

SACE Registration is essential

Duties and Responsibilities

Teaching, assessment, planning and preparation for all classes (Grade 8 - 12). Tutor/Register teacher responsibilities. Must be involved in the extramural programme. * Will be responsible to fulfil all other reasonable duties required of a teacher.
