Job Description

To call on Pharmacies and other Customers to promote products within the Adcock Ingram Rx Division.

Job Purpose:





To call on Pharmacies and other Customers to promote products within the Adcock Ingram Rx Division.


Required Learning:





2 years' experience as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative.



Computer literacy: MS Office (proficient in Excel, Word & Power Point)



A valid driver's licence.



Knowledge of and experience in independent, corporate, Hospital Pharmacy and Dispensing doctors.


Key Job Outputs:





To constantly achieve individual regional and divisional sales targets



Develop and maintain excellent relationships with Pharmacists and Key Customers.



Ensure adherence to product marketing strategy through management of stock levels, merchandising, promotional activity at pharmacies, and dispensaries.



To identify opportunities in the market for new products and new growth areas for the business



Successfully implement sales and marketing strategies



Analysis of regional sales, competitor and market share data, then help develop strategies and action plans to maximize sales potential in the respective area.



To respond adequately and professionally to customer complaints and queries.
