Introduction

Our client based in Constantia, Cape Town is looking to employ a Personal Assistant to the Director.

This position consists of both personal and professional assisting.

Candidates must be willing and happy to drive around for personal errands.

  • Monthly Salary + Petrol Card
  • Office based position.
  • Hours: 8AM xe2x80x93 5PM (with some flexibility)
Main Responsibilities for the Company (But not limited to):
  • Travel Arrangements: Coordinating all aspects of travel, including booking flights, visas, hotels, and transportation, and creating detailed itineraries. Ensuring travel plans align with the director's schedule and preferences.
  • Special Projects: Assisting with special projects, initiatives, or events as assigned by the director. Coordinating cross-functional teams, managing deadlines, and ensuring successful project completion.
  • The candidate will handle incoming calls, emails, and other correspondence on behalf of the director.
  • Scheduling appointments, maintaining an events calendar, and sending reminders.
  • Copying, scanning, and faxing documents, as well as taking notes.
  • Providing general administrative support to the team.
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with team members and clients is important.
Personal Duties (But not limited to):
  • Assist with taking the directorxe2x80x99s children to school and picking them up again in the afternoons.
  • Assist the children with their homework.
  • Take the children to extra-mural activities and appointments.
  • Shopping for household.
  • Any other tasks as requested by the Director.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in administrative or PA environment.
  • Experience in a similar industry or working with senior-level executives may also be beneficial.
  • Strong organisational skills are essential to manage multiple tasks, prioritise work, and maintain efficient systems and processes.
  • The ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and handle unexpected situations is essential for success as an personal assistant.
  • The candidate will be required to think critically, troubleshoot issues, and find solutions to problems that arise in day-to-day operations.
  • Handling various ad-hoc tasks, such as managing and performing general administrative duties to support the smooth functioning of the executive's office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent English Grammar skills.
  • Computer Literate.
  • Drivers Licence is essential.
  • Must have Own Transport.
