Job Summary
Great team in a Cape Town asset manager is looking for a Performance Analyst to join their Institutional Fund Operations team.
The primary responsibility of the role will be the production and preparation of investment performance.
This is an EE designated opportunity.
Key areas of responsibility:
- Production of investment performance across the client database (institutional, retail, life & individuals)
- Preparation of performance package pages, attributions, graphs and specific requests to be used in meetings
- Preparation of performance pages & attributions for quarterly institutional & individual client reports.
- Updating returns and graphs to be shown on the company's website
- Providing returns and graphs for various internal reports (eg. Unit Trust Fact sheets)
- Providing returns and survey data to consultants/clients
- Production of performance reports for portfolio managers on a monthly basis
- Calculation and checking of performance fee spreadsheets
- Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Economics, Finance
- CFA would be advantageous
- Required to complete the CIPM course
- Strong academic track record
- 2+ years' experience within asset management
- StatPro Revolution experience
- Have a high attention to detail.
- Highly analytical, and naturally curious
