We're looking for a highly organised, proactive, and people-oriented individual to join our People & Culture team as a People and Talent Coordinator. In this role, you'll work closely with the People and Culture Lead and the Talent Partner, to support recruitment, onboarding, people operations, and internal initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
People Operations & Administration
Maintain and update employee records in our HRIS with accuracy and discretion.
Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring seamless experiences for new joiners and leavers.
Track attendance, manage leave balances, and ensure HR documentation is current and compliant.
HR Data & Reporting
Create and maintain simple dashboards or reports to track HR and recruitment metrics.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency in our processes and systems.
Culture & Engagement
Coordinate team events and social initiatives, and support global engagement campaigns.
Manage training calendars, event logistics, and team-building activities.
Support performance review cycles and engagement survey coordination.
Talent Acquisition & Coordination
Support the Talent Partner in global recruitment across all departments.
Take ownership of junior roles (e.g. Client Success Executive, Guest Experience Executive) from posting through to hire.
Screen CVs, coordinate interviews, and maintain communication loops with candidates and hiring managers.
Post and sponsor jobs on platforms like Workable, LinkedIn, and Indeed.
Assist in pulling recruitment data and reporting for weekly hiring updates.
General HR Support
Handle ad hoc employee queries and redirect to relevant team members when needed.
Stay informed of labour law updates and support compliance efforts across multiple geographies.
Please note:
This is a
hybrid role, with 1-2 days
in the office each week. You must be comfortable working UK hours 09:00-18:00 GMT, including adjustments for daylight savings which may shift to
10:00-19:00 or 11:00-20:00 SA time
Requirements
1-2 years' experience in recruitment and HR (recruitment agency or startup/scale-up is a bonus).
Qualification as an Industrial Psychologist is beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational and administrative skills, with high attention to detail.
Comfortable with tools like Google Workspace, Excel, HRIS (BambooHR), and ATS (Workable).
Proactive mindset and an eagerness to learn.
Familiarity with South African and UK employment law is an advantage.
